Description:

Due to an expansion of the Mixed Signal IP Business Line, we are now looking to hire a Design Infrastructure Engineer in our Lisbon Office.  Reporting to the Group Manager, this person will be responsible for the CAD/EDA environment, PDK management and IT infrastructure on site.

Requirements:

  • An honors degree or post-graduate qualification in Electronic Engineering
  • At least 3 years experience as a CAD/PDK engineer
  • Knowledge of analog mixed-signal design process flows
  • Experience in developing semiconductor design productivity enhancement processes, mechanisms and tools, including developing software programs in SKILL
  • Experience in liaising with semiconductor foundries from a technical perspective
  • Experience with various foundry processes from a PDK perspective, including developing and maintaining custom PDKs
  • Experience with main EDA software packages (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys) from a software installation and license managing point of view
  • Experience in mixed-signal layout design is an important advantage
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems is a plus, in order to act as the main point of contact for IT matters with the IT department centralized in Dublin, Ireland
  • Technical curiosity and a good understanding of the latest developments in the industry and of leading-edge design techniques
