Vacancies exist for engineers (2+ years) within Silicon & Software Systems' Prague Design Centre. You will be part of an experienced digital IC design team developing complex system-on-chip solutions on leading-edge technologies for System IC Business Unit customers.

As a Digital Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle from requirements capture through to tape-out. Technical customer communication will be part of the role. Short-term travel is occasionally required.

You will have responsibility for technical aspects within the project, interfacing to the customer and S3 technical lead. With over 2 years design experience, you will be proficient in working to bring complex ICs from requirements through tape-out.

Requirements

  • Honors Degree or post-grad qualification in Electronic Engineering
  • 2+ years experience in design of large ICs / system-on-chip designs
  • RTL design, gate-level design, verification, synthesis, static timing analysis (VHDL/Verilog)
  • Experience with leading edge EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • Successful track record of project work
  • Working knowledge of complete IC design flows, from Requirements to Evaluation
  • Fluency in Czech and a minimum of intermediate English preferred
