Vacancies exist for Graduate Digital Design Engineers within Silicon & Software Systems' Prague Design Centre. You will be part of an experienced digital IC design team developing complex system-on-chip solutions on leading-edge technologies for Systems IC Business Unit customers.
As a digital design engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of the development cycle from requirements capture through to tape-out. You will be involved in specification and design of digital circuits, and coding these circuits in HDLs (Verilog and VHDL.) You will also be responsible for the verification of designs ranging from blocks to complete system-on-chip ICs using the latest verification methodologies. Tasks will include testbench design and coding (primarily in HDLs), stimulus generation (e.g. Matlab, perl, C), and simulation using tools from leading EDA vendors (e.g. Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor.). Short-term travel is occasionally required.
Requirements:
- Honors degree or post-grad qualification in Electronic Engineering
- Good knowledge of digital circuit design
- Strong technical background
- Good problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of VHDL or Verilog, familiarity with Unix (Solaris/Linux) would be an advantage
- Fluency in Czech and a minimum of intermediate English preferred
