Vacancies exist in our Wroclaw Design Center for a number of Hardware System Architects with proven experience and innovation capability to join our highly skilled Consumer Healthcare & Lifestyle development teams.
Job description:
S3’s Wroclaw engineering teams develop full lifecycle projects (from concept phase through to system integration and product launch). Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for:
- Designing and developing the system architecture for systems starting from concept phase through to system integration
- Effective communication with clients and team members to identify and solve complex technical and business problems
- Communicating relevant project architecture information to management, team members and clients
- Actively managing the project risk and technical costs
- Creating and executing project work plans and reviewing as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and making constructive suggestions for changes
Qualifications required:
- University degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- 3-4 years experience in an hardware system architecture role
- A strong problem solving approach; with the capability to effectively identify and frame problems, leading the collection of elements of information and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
- Experience working in full life-cycle projects with emphasis in bringing product developments through to market launch
- Proven ability in managing and interacting with global EMS suppliers
- A high level of communications, consulting and client relationship skills
- Very strong conceptual, analytical and judgment abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in both international and multifunctional teams
- Strong hardware engineering skills and an ability to understand end user driven innovation concepts
- The ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment. The candidate must be strongly self-motivated
