Vacancies exist in S3’s Wroclaw Design Center for a number of Graduate Digital Television Software Engineers with passion and enthusiasm to join our highly skilled development teams.
Responsibilities:
S3’s Wroclaw engineering teams develop full lifecycle projects (from concept phase through to system integration) with leading edge technology such as High Definition Television, Digital Video Recorders, Video on Demand and IPTV, delivering worldwide digital TV solutions. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for:
- Designing and developing products and integrating of leading edge embedded television systems starting from the design phase through to the system integration phase
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and making constructive suggestions for changes
Qualifications required:
- University degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- Strong embedded C skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- The ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment
- A strong problem solving approach; with the capability to effectively identify and frame problems, leading the collection of elements of information and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
- Experience in developing embedded software projects is a distinct advantage
