Vacancies exist in S3’s Wroclaw Design Center for a number of Senior Digital Television Software Engineers with passion and enthusiasm to join our highly skilled development teams.
Responsibilities:
S3’s Wroclaw engineering teams develop full lifecycle projects (from concept phase through to system integration) with leading edge technology such as High Definition Television, Digital Video Recorders, Video on Demand and IPTV, delivering worldwide digital TV solutions. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for:
- Designing and developing leading edge embedded digital television systems starting from the requirements phase through to the system integration phase
- Effective communication with clients and team members to identify complex technical concepts
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and making constructive suggestions for changes
Qualifications required:
- University degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- 5+ years experience in embedded software development
- Strong embedded C skills
- A strong problem solving approach; with the capability to effectively identify and frame problems, leading the collection of elements of information and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
- Experience working in full life-cycle projects
- Very strong conceptual, analytical and judgment abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to work in both international and multifunctional teams
- Strong Software Engineering Skills
- The ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment
