Vacancies exist in our Wroclaw Design Center for a Web Designer with passion and enthusiasm to join our highly skilled development teams.
Responsibilities:
S3’s Wroclaw engineering teams develop full lifecycle projects (from concept phase through to system integration) with leading edge technology such as High Definition Television, Digital Video Recorders, Video on Demand and IPTV, delivering worldwide digital TV solutions. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for:
- Further design and implementation of our proprietary web based groupware tool that supports effective communication amongst our clients and employees
- Identification of opportunities for improvement and making constructive suggestions for design
Qualifications required:
- University degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
- PHP coding and debugging
- Javascript coding, optimisation and debug
- Knowledge of SQL, preferably PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Linux and Apache
- Good spoken and written English
- An understanding of web security and authentication techniques
- CVS and/or SVN configuration management
- Customer focused attitude
- Knowledge of Python is a distinct advantage
