Jim O'Donoghue is S3 Group’s VP of Strategic Business Development. Jim's role involves driving the strategic direction for S3 Group’s multiple businesses, managing key client relationships and seeking out new commercial opportunities for the company.

Jim joined S3 Group in 1987 as a software engineer and rose rapidly through the ranks, before being appointed as General Manager of the Networking Business Unit in 1999 and subsequently to VP of Strategic Business Development.  Jim devotes a significant proportion of his time to S3 Group’s Telehealth business focusing on positioning S3 Group for long term success in this fast growing emerging sector.  Jim brings a breadth of expertise and experience to his current role with over eleven years in senior management as well as eight years in general business management

Jim played a pivotal role in pioneering the company’s evolution into product development and has been a core contributor to the development of the business with a Tier One client base including Lucent, Motorola, Fujitsu, IBM, Intel amongst others. Jim holds a BA in Mathematics and a BAI in Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
