Philip Brennan is S3's Vice President for Consumer Systems, encompassing S3's multiple activities in the Consumer Home, Consumer Mobile and Consumer Healthcare market sectors. Philip's role involves developing strategic relationships across the whole consumer value chain and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to clients including Samsung, Scientific Atlanta, Philips, BSkyB and Motorola amongst others.

Philip joined S3 in 1988 as a software engineer and rose rapidly through the company, before being appointed Software Director in 1998 and Consumer Systems General Manager in 2001. He played a pivotal role in the strategic development of S3 in preparation for the recapitalization that took place in 2005 and has been instrumental in focusing S3 towards the current strategy of Connected Consumer Technology as well as growing the business by over 200% in the past 4 years.

Philip holds a First Class Honours degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.
