Health gateways provide consumers with a user friendly interface to both their service provider and their personal health data. They are the telehealth service provider's main point of presence for the consumer. The role of Health Gateways in Telemonitoring Systems is evolving. Current gateways collect specific health data from proprietary wired or wireless sensor devices, augment it with questionnaires to assess the patient’s mood and then transfer the collated results to dedicated telemonitoring enterprise back-ends over low-speed analog POTS lines.

We develop next generation health gateways(or application hosting devices) which employ Continua Health Alliance standard interfaces, leverage universal broadband access and are optimized for larger deployments. These health gateway devices interoperate with personal health and sensor devices from multiple vendors over Bluetooth, USB, Zigbee or low-power short-range wireless interfaces.

We have been designing solutions for clients in the Digital Consumer market space since 1990 and have an established leadership position in System Level Design and Integration for the latest digital television products for cable, satellite, terrestrial and  broadband IPTV networks. We deliver complete system integration services across the full broadcast delivery value chain as well as software solutions for mobile DTV. This leadership position, coupled with our experience in delivering telemonitoring and lifestyle products and solutions, allows home and mobile gateway vendors get their healthcare enabled products to market faster.
