In our approach, we are careful not to consider the chronically ill population as a specific niche of people with a range of inabilities. Instead, we look at them as an important and growing subset of the total population who wish to maintain their existing lifestyles and capabilities, despite experiencing some loss in dexterity, visual and auditory acuity and other physical and cognitive abilities. Their needs and demands are significant factors driving the development of our ideas, concepts and designs.
We ensure that the device meets the needs of the clinicians interfacing with a new system.
We are actively involved in the Continua Health Alliance interface standardization activities. We have expertise in the Bluetooth, USB, Zigbee and ultra-low-power short-range wireless interfaces that are used to ensure that the sensor devices interoperate with Health Gateways(or Application Hosting Devices in Continua terminology).
We optimize the Bill of Materials to ensure that our clients' products are competitively priced. This service enables customers with novel sensor technology to guarantee first-time-right delivery and fast time-to-market by using S3 Group as Prime Contractor and Product Development Partner.
