    The challenge

    Receiver devices get returned from the field for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they are brought back following a service visit. Sometimes they are returned through service termination or system upgrade. Whatever the reason, it is important for operators to be able to accurately and cost efficiently screen these returned devices to ensure that they are tested thoroughly and any underlying faults detected are fixed prior to re-issue of units to the field.

    Our solution

    • StormTest® Decision Line is an automated test solution for screening digital TV devices as they come back from the field. StormTest Decision Line is capable of achieving 16 times the volume of testing with half as many operators compared with manual testing, but most importantly it provides a reliable and repeatable method of determining consumer device quality.
