S3 Group and OEM Collaborate to Develop Complex HD PVR

S3 Group was selected by a leading consumer electronics manufacturer to work with them to develop a high-end HD PVR product for a Tier One satellite operator in Europe. S3 Group’s task was to perform the complete software integration on the product and manage the product through multiple certification steps. Our customer has world-leading expertise in developing new consumer electronics products and has been working with us for several years on multiple projects. S3 Group has also worked directly for the operator since 2004 and has an in-depth understanding of the full software architecture of their state-of-the-art product. The collaboration of S3 Group and the OEM was a major factor in them being awarded the contract as the next supplier of the product. This product is now in volume production.
