S3 to Demonstrate at CableLabs® Summer Conference

S3's North American team will take their test and diagnostics solution, StormTest™, to showcase to senior executives at the CableLabs Summer Conference in Colorado.

CableLabs Summer Conference, Keystone, Colorado, August 9^th, 2009 - S3 will be demonstrating its StormTest™ product to over 200 senior executives in the North American cable industry at the upcoming CableLabs® Summer Conference in Colorado from August 9^th-11^th. StormTest is an intelligent, automated set-top box test and diagnostics solution which removes the need for time-consuming, expensive and error-prone manual testing and replaces it with a more accurate and cost-effective alternative. Current clients include BSkyB and Irdeto amongst others.

S3 has in-depth experience in delivering system integration management, design services and consultancy services to the Digital TV industry and will be showcasing its StormTest solution at the CableLabs summer conference. In addition to being able to provide all of the features you would expect to see in such a testing product, such as video analysis, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and motion detection, StormTest offers cable operators configurable, repeatable and reliable testing, a universal test infrastructure, support for black-box and white-box testing and a single platform that meets different test case needs from development right through to legacy set-top box maintenance and repair.
