Pre-launch

During the pre-launch digital TV receiver development stage, S3 Group assists our customers to fully define the System Integration Validation process. Completion of this work also means that there is a single reference document that describes the full validation process and identifies other associated documents. Full project management expertise is provided along with detailed work packages which articulate the inputs, outputs and assumptions made for each phase of work.

Post-launch

There are opportunities throughout the lifecycle to save costs, reduce faults and ultimately increase customer satisfaction through better testing and validation. From automating sub-sample batch testing of newly manufactured digital TV devices through to screening of defective devices returning from the field, S3 Group can help you to identify where the greatest return on investment will be for increased testing and support you with a range of services and products to address these areas.    

Defining and/or Delivering

As your needs dictate, S3 Group are happy to undertake either the definition of the test and certification processes, or the execution of these processes, or as in many cases, both. We have experience in undertaking:

• Requirement coverage gap analysis
• New test definition, implementation and execution
• Investigation and analysis of defects raised as a result of running tests
• Resolution recommendation and participation in the resolution of issues
• Validation/certification of integrated systems to the required level of quality, functionality and performance
• Reporting progress against test and certification plans into overall project plans
