Testing and Certification Services
For S3 Group’s cable and satellite operator clients as well as our middleware and conditional access vendor clients S3 Group provides testing and certification services as one element of our system integration offering. Testing and certification can involve a number of activities including but not limited to the following which S3 Group have experience in undertaking:
- Porting Process Definition
- Porting Planning, Preparation and Implementation
- Development, maintenance and delivery of the system integration plan
- Acceptance of deliverables into integration
- Execution of all tests
- Investigation and analysis of defects raised as a result of running tests
- Resolution recommendation and participation in the resolution of issues
- Validation/certification of integrated systems to the required level of quality, functionality and performance
- Reporting progress against integration plan into overall project plan
S3 Group assists our customers to fully define the client integration and validation process. Completion of this work also means that there is a single reference document that describes the full validation process and identifies other associated documents. Full project management expertise is provided along with detailed work packages which articulate the inputs, outputs and assumptions made for each phase of work.
